My mom and I have been having a lot of these conversations lately. My grandmother did not allow any of her children to be inoculated. As children, they all had measles, whooping cough and scarlet fever and all survived and lived very healthy lives. My mom, however was subjected to vaccination requirement by an employer in the early 1960s. Shortly after that, she was hospitalized for a “mystery illness” that they never determined the cause for. Following that illness, she developed psoriatic arthritis which at times has been severely debilitating.

I’m beginning to think the immunity issues were all triggered by the series of Vaccinations she received in order to travel.

There are five of us (kids). We all had measles, chickenpox, and my brother had mumps. I never got mumps. That proves to me that people have natural immunity to some things.

The only two vaccinations I remember getting in the 60’s were smallpox and polio.

I never took the flu vaccine until 2008 when I had it so bad it almost turned to pneumonia. My pulmonary doctor told me to get them after that because with my asthma, flu could kill me. I thought it was going to that time.

When I turned 65, I got one pneumonia shot. My arm had a knot on it for a month and for that month I couldn’t raise my arm over my head. I declined the second one.

I didn’t get the flu vax last winter for the first time since 2009.

I never had any reactions to the flu vax but I don’t trust them anymore. I don’t trust the FDA, the CDC, big pharma, the hospitals, or the doctors. I’m all out of trust. Doctor and medicines, in the past, have saved a lot of lives. Covid changed that. No trust anymore!
