The shooter will claim he protected the victim from global warming by making him assume room temperature.

The guy won’t be producing any more carbon dioxide, either.

Probably a fatal misgendering incident. Or one of the two decided to save the Earth by eliminating the carbon footprint of the other.

I bet if the gas was free there would be longer lines and more shootings.
Looking at the photo with the crime scene tape. People freak out when they cops take their phones. I can only imagine what the scene was like when these people couldn’t get to their Teslas.

Doesn’t actually matter what they were arguing about. Could have been Less Filing vs Tastes Great. It should have never escalated to any level of violence. Really folks, we gotta get some control back in this country.

Cops said they haven’t a clue, but it definitely wasn’t over waiting, nor the vaccine.

Not a good neighborhood. I wouldn’t want to be stuck there for 2 hours

I believe it wasn’t necessarily about the charger. The area is not a good neighborhood. Decent chance of gang involvement

Except for the fact the victim was a sitting duck and stuck there for 2 hours I've been pointing out that people charging their vehicles are prey for any predators for several hours. And the predators will know it.
Whereas you can get in and out of a gas station in minutes.

the incident started a discussion about the need for an automatic queuing system at the charging stations.

I've been pointing out that people charging their vehicles are prey for any predators for several hours. And the predators will know it. Whereas you can get in and out of a gas station in minutes. Even gassing up can be dangerous in the bad and marginal parts of town. Gas stations are a favorite place for car jackers. And for those who are not aware. Today's anti-theft systems in new automobiles are very effective. This leads car thieves to try and steal your automobile when you have the keys (or fob) in your hand or in the ignition. Such as when gassing up and you are distracted.

Minutes of vigilance beats hours of vigilance.
And you can choose between many more places where you're likely to be a victim, and plan accordingly.

It could have been worse if they had internal combustion engine cars and it was a "freak gasoline fight accident" like in 'Zoolander':
