OK, the title of the article was not what I was expecting.

The Dike Community frowns on your shenanigans.

(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either opinion, or satire, or both.)

I heard a year or so ago about this solar farm going in up there. This is cloudy East Texas, not Las Vegas or Phoenix.

Is Ellen Degeneres a member of the dike community?

What next? An article about a Trans Am that goes viral?

Hopkins County is on either side of Interstate 30, about halfway between Dallas and Texarkana.
West Texas would seem to be a more suitable place to put the birdkillers, where there aren't any trees and there is probably more sunshine.

So, if they vote to incorporate, they will become Dike City?
Well, I’m goin’ to Dike City where it’s two to one
Goin’ to Dike City gonna have some fun
Two Dikes for every Gay!

LOL. Me too. I was thinking that Lesbians are just as wary of sustainable energy scams as anyone else.

Take me down to the new Dike City where the grass is brown and the girls are chunky. Take, me, home.

I misread this as “Dyke” community and thought, “Great. There is an entire town full of them.”
To: al_c
Yeah, not a fan of solar farms, however I am a fan of property rights so if there was no previous deed restriction or such it shouldn’t be anyone else’s business what the owners do with it
To: BenLurkin
Is that ‘’dike’’ or ‘’dyke’’?
Inquiring minds want to know.

How large an area will this solar farm cover? The writers seem to have omitted that little fact. I drove across Texas not that long ago and there appeared to be plenty of room for quite a few solar panels.

This dike community?
