“One of the reasons for our successes so far is we are proactively tuning and revising our model every year,” Zeng says. There’s a name for this with technical analysis indicators in trading financial securities. It’s called rewriting. The indicator (model) goes back on previous prints and corrects trade entry and exit signals to look correct.
I don’t trust these pseudoscientists one iota.

EVERY YEAR is predicated to have above average activity.
And then it doesn’t happen .
And no one follows up with the prediction and points out they were wrong

Oh yeah? Correctly tell me NOW when, within one week, and where, within 100 miles each hurricane will strike in order to demonstrate an understanding of the system. They can’t.
In 2016 there was an eclipse of the sun and they could tell us when and where the total eclipse would occur within minutes, thus demonstrating an understanding of the system. The global warming crowd can’t do that because they don’t have a real understanding of the system.

Forecasters
And just who are these mysterious anonymous “forecasters”. Are they forecasters from the Climate Change Conspiracy Theory activists at NOAA, NASA or other government agency?

They also predicted a dry winter and California got hammered with more rain than they could handle.

Lots of hurricanes = Climate Change
Few hurricanes = Climate Change

This is good news! I’m going to the Gulf Coast this summer, so now I know I’ll have good weather!
To: ConservativeInPA
No doubt to counter the 6+ inches of snow we got last night and this morning. I really don’t like these assclowns.

Well, we shouldn’t complain about moisture when we get it. If I had a catchment system set up........

The official NHC forecast is for a below average season. At least someone is going to be correct

At least someone is going to be correctThat’s sort of like when a hurricane does form and they have a couple dozen models to predict landfall. One is bound to be correct.

My Dad used to say “They don’t forecast the weather. They just sell it.”
Dad was right about that and so many other things.

They should take away their calculators.

As my FiL used to say. They have to raise the water rates each year whether its too much or not enough rain. They have the prerecorded excuses all ready each year.
