Ha! There is actually a stop when you get to California but it wasn’t manned when I went through.
I’m a native Californian, and I can say it’s been awhile since sanity prevailed there. There are many good conservative people there, they are greatly outnumbered. The public employees unions run the state. I know how they operate as I worked for one for 10 years. At the same time I was very active in California conservative politics.
To me it is sad. One of the most beautiful places on earth, ruined by leftist politicians.

CA only stops you to make sure you are not bringing fruit in that could have bugs that would destroy their crops.
