I always thought Vancouver Washington would be a great place to live for tax purposes. No income tax in Washington, and you can drive over to Portland to shop where there’s no sales tax.

My daughters lived in Corvallis Oregon at one time. During one visit, I discovered that Crystal cat litter there was not only much cheaper, no sales tax! I think I bought every bag in Corvallis and Albany. The back of my vehicle was full and my daughter jokingly said California was going to stop me and charge me tax.

I can just see your car.....weighted down.....with all of that cat litter!!

I’m surprised CA didn’t stop you, to tax you.

That was back when CA still had some semblance of sanity. :- /

Yes it is very beautiful though it rains a lot, but you do have lot of entertainment just across the Columbia in Portland, if you know what I mean.
