The three-hour hearing Wednesday uncovered little evidence that had not already surfaced in Paxton’s many legal troubles, but it was noteworthy because it came before a House panel with authority to initiate formal disciplinary action against the state’s top attorney and highest-ranking elected law enforcement official.
Ken Paxton dismissed House investigators as partisan Democrats. Their backgrounds suggest otherwise.

Literal dumpster fire: Arrest made in ‘unintentional’ trash fire at AG Ken Paxton’s office
On Thursday, Paxton said a 42-year-old woman was arrested for criminal mischief, and despite the agency earlier alleging the incident was an arson, said initial investigations appeared to show the fire set by mistake.
The arrest came the day after the House ethics committee released findings from a monthslong ethics probe into Paxton.

The Speaker did appear to be drunk. Never heard that it was a health problem. Who does he think he is, nancy Pelousi?

A very interesting situation is taking place. While I was in office, Bill Barr, as Attorney General, was very slow & unenthusiastic about going after Joe & Hunter Biden regarding their possible criminal activity. Much was being reported in the Media. It was hard getting him to move, but I always felt he believed you just don’t go after Presidents, V.P.’s, & Presidential Candidates very cavalierly. I understood that, & was sort of OK with it. Now Biden thugs want to indict me, for NOTHING!

“Geraldine Tyler owned a condo that Hennepin County seized as payment for approximately $15,000 in outstanding property taxes, penalties, interest, and costs. The home was then sold for $40,000. Under the state’s forfeiture laws, the county kept the surplus proceeds – in this case to the tune of $25,000,” Fox News reported.”
