Kilmeade did not lose the Carlson viewers; Carlson’s absence did. Whoever they used would have suffered the same fate.

Tucker struck a chord with viewers, by covering information that others didn't want to touch.

Anyone replacing him either doesn't cover those topics (and loses the audience) or DOES cover those topics (and meets the same fate as Tucker)
