Cost of doing business. The kind if people that would go on Springer and air their dirty laundry for a plane ticket and a free hotel room were bound to be potentially litigious. Most of the fights I saw on the show were flailing cat-fights....fat chicks getting their hair extensions torn out in fights over punks that didn’t care about them was about the worst of it. You may have an inflated view of the American people. Saloon society is, and always has been, pretty trashy and lacking in self-awareness. Springer just gave them a stage.
