Sounds great Snowy and GOOD LUCK!
My husband is a Veteran and we tried to get his Eliquis through the VA but they never even answered the request by the doctor. I found a two year coupon instead. I don’t get the impression that they really want to help Veterans much. If they did, they’d help with expensive prescriptions more.
I never worked, or dealt, with the Federal government but I did work for the State of TN for three years. They might not do much drug testing, but they are covered up with rules that impact your personal life like your behavior when off the clock, the bumper stickers on your car regarding politics, and politics in general. I got the interview mostly because my cousin was a heavy weight in the Republican party and Republicans were in power at the time. He is now a judge. He has a FB account but never posts, even to his kids and grandkids. If I need to talk to him, I don’t do it through FB.
After three years, I got fed-up with the personal restrictions at the State and quit.
Just mind your P’s and Q’s is the only advice I can give. Keep your eyes and ears open and your mouth shut, even if it’s a 3rd party job, if you want to keep the job. You’d never believe where Feds lurk and spy. LOL
Probably not in the pharmacy's formulary. You should try an AFB for it. If anyone has it in the Fed, they will.
Just goes to show that YMMV.
I am VERY pleased with the VA here in Alaska. My story is too long to go into but they have been excellent at taking care of me over the past ten years even when it involved helicopters and Lear jets (More than once).
Note: I ain't no hero. I am only at 20%
