I've always thought it interesting that plants turn CO2 and sunlight into sugar. They turn their energy into our energy.
I always keep a couple of cords of "solar batteries" on hand to power up my wood cookstove.

If only there was a way to capture solar energy and

efficiently store it in a solid form to release the

energy after months or even years of storage.

-—capture solar energy and efficiently store it: One method that I’ve leaned on the local utility about is to use the wind and solar power to pump river water to a high place. Store the water in a high lagoon then release it thru turbines back into the same river when the power is needed-——efficiency is not even a consideration since the input energy is other wise wasted anyway.

No problem converting your cords to watts.
