Concur with the fiat....but the burger has also changed. I can no longer stomach McD burgers while I used to love them. They’ve added a ton of fillers or done something else similar since the 80s and now taste like cardboard.
I distinctly remember going in after a x-country meet and spending $5 for 2 big macs, large fries, soda, and a fish sandwich and having ~15 cents left. So inflation yes.
But the burgers tasted better too. Nowadays I’ll eat at Culver’s or Five Guys, spending a bit extra ....maybe a Wendy’s...otherwise I avoid all the chains.

Proxy war by the West.
I’m loving the sunlight on the hypocrisy. Puts your eyes out. But. The Cabal induced slaughter of UKR military and now men off the street, deserves only one form of justice— in World TRIBUNALS and the penalty by 4 o’clock.
Carried out by sunset.
~~~
The undisputed and impressive impression made, in alt media, is that Russia is still not front-lining Any Russian MIL.
The fuller effort is broadly attributed to the Wagner Group— criminals on leave, served by plenty of increasingly lethal material, the early slow-advance methodology, smart fall back work, in the overall mission toward military liquidation, thus to de-militerize UKR.
Territorial gains have been the by-product. Elinsky’s buck refusal to negotiate made it all excruciatingly possible. The Russian liquidation strategy continues abd obliges the stooge of the West, led by Uncle Joe. (Who isn’t capable of having even nightmares of remorse.)
It is expected the territorial gains will be returned upon either mission completion, or at a negotiation table.
One very early drop said Putin will lop off one-third of western UKR and see it rightfully returned to old Poland! Possibly the center would go to UKR, and Russia will absorb roughly the third of UKR, nearest its western border.
That has never been repeated, since. Therefore, I believe the Poland part (the rest not with standing).
Putin wishes to be a statesman, I think, true to his word where possible, as he methodically helps Russia emerge from communism. He seeks fair relations with Poland, with respect to be paid concerning its painful history.
I should have been clearer, as I was speaking only about Canadian coins. All of our coins have been made of mostly steel and have been magnetic for over 5 decades, except our penny, since it had such a high copper content. In 1996, the penny began to be made of primarily zinc, also not magnetic. In 1999, the Mint started to make pennies from mostly steel until it was taken out of circulation in 2013. A penny is still legal tender in Canada but merchants are not required to give pennies as change and are allowed to round up and down. All of our other coins minted after 1968 are magnetic. Coins older than that (that are not pennies) have a high silver content and are not magnetic.
I think we’re quibbling over the definition of organic. Correct.
You’re talking organic chemistry and others are talking bout organically sourced.
Actually, it's the same thing.
When you think organic, you think carbon.
Well yes...I'm thinking "the chemistry of life". Virtually all known life-forms are "carbon based".
I don’t think that’s what these others are referring to.
It's a stolen word, and words mean things.
They're referring to compost, manure and humus, decayed or decaying life....all containing long-chain carbon molecules....and N-P-K (inorganic) the essential nutrients plants require. (mostly nitrogen). Phosphorous can come from dishwater and Potassium from wood ash.
They should be saying "natural foods".....or something.
I've always thought it interesting that plants turn CO2 and sunlight into sugar. They turn their energy into our energy. I always keep a couple of cords of "solar batteries" on hand to power up my wood cookstove.
SLIDE- ON FILE SIZES
Q&A is On.
"Don’t know if it’s just me, but I can’t see the images you post tonight. I’m just getting the little squares. I can usually see them fine."
As meyer just said: "The burger hasn’t changed,..."
Nothing has changed in the uniform manner that [F] posts, i.e. source file sizes are 90% identical.
The issue(s) experienced here were caused by Sobieskis' WHALE-SIZED gif of 38.2MB at post #994.
Even when you navigated to the next page, this post would be causing download, latency, and bandwidth issues for your 'pipeline', locally and on the network. Most with high-speed connections didn't have a problem.
But I even noticed a 1/4second hiccup loading this MONSTOROUS FISH on the screen, downloaded the gif, and saw that the "FISH WAS THIS BIG".
SOB- You may choose to keep the individual'GIF's under 7MB, most are under ~6MB, with a few done at 9MB.
[F] typically edits 90% of gif posts; with 3sec pause to start, and 5sec pause at end.
This self-imposed 'size matters' was found to be acceptable by prolific posters in 2017-2018 on the Q thread.
Those sizes suggested may have improved recently, yet there is no guideline published by FR to my knowlege.
That said, the combination of provider speed, computer hardware, and computer software all affect the users web 'experience' in literally a thousand ways!
SLIDE- FILE SIZE MATTERS
"I usually can’t see foldy’s posts. It may be the time of day/traffic at the hosting site."
-smileyface
It is not the day/traffic of the hosting site for FR, as FR exists as a tightly encapsulated website that has very few objects (low bandwidth) to present a page- without the noise like other sites.
You may have a censoring block on the hosting site IMGUR [F] uses which is fine. [F] is data agnostic.
That said, the combination of provider speed, computer hardware, and computer software all affect the users web 'experience' in literally a thousand ways!
Make it a great day!
the lady that cuts my hair was diagnosed with advanced breast cancer the end of last week the SAME day her husband dropped dead for no known reason.Events seemed to have moved from "deliberately and programmed" to "suddenly and unexpectedly" and advanced rapid progression for "reasons unknown" and the numbers keep adding up.
