The loss of O’Reilly didn’t kill FOX because they had Tucker primed and ready to go. At the time I actually enjoyed Tucker’s show more than O’Reilly’s and was thrilled when Tucker got the 8PM slot. Jesse Walters is the only substitute they have for Tucker, he’s borderline and won’t bring in Tucker ratings.
This was back during the Comey witch hunt.
The guy is pathetic. I’m sure he’s paid well for his efforts .

I think having to pay 765 million dollars or whatever it was meant doing cuts. Tucker was paid 35 million. There will be more cuts. They are the ones who settled and tuckers words caused the lawsuit to begin with.
It would have been quite interesting to watch the number of viewers in real time last night at 8 am. How many were watching for the first 15 seconds when Kilmeade wished Tucker well. And how many were still watching at the 30 second mark when Kilmeade moved into the show material. My guess is that by the 30 second mark, there was a massive amount of channel changing that had gone on.
Don’t give them any ideas.

That would be great!!!! I am one of the few who didn’t like Tucker. He seems too feminine to me. Pete will easily be a better choice.
The problem with that analysis is that — from all reports I’ve seen — Tucker Carlson is going to be paid out for the last three years of his contract anyway.
We predicted it would be Kilmeade to start out the rotation and make the announcement. He’s a company man. The Murdochs like him because he trashes Trump so that’s a bonus. For me, he offers nothing new or different.

Even if they dumped him completely, they'd only be saving about $60 million over the next three years. They probably couldn't pay off a $750M+ settlement even if they fired every Fox News employee.
A more likely scenario is that they have gone begging to their corporate sponsors to see how much additional revenue they could get by adjusting the content of their propaganda. I'm sure you'll see Bud Light ads on there before long. :-P

Agree, tons of talent out there. The new "network" needs to cross all lines, it needs to air on Twitter, on a cable network, and stream.
