I think I understand Hannity's position well.

He approaches his media job with all the urgency and loyalty of someone who knows he'd be painting houses or selling used cars for a living if he didn't have his current gig.

Good analysis. That’s Hannity for sure. I never heard of him until he and Colmes had a show on Fox. In fact, I’d never heard of either of them prior to seeing them on Fox News. And, I never heard of their radio shows until they showed up on Fox. Neither of them were known in the national forum as far as I could find out. So, who actually picked these two losers to host a prime-time show on a 24-hour news channel that would be competing with CNN? Colmes passed away, but for some reason, Hannity has survived despite having no actual talent.
