Is Fox News really “opposition media”, at least since late 2011 when Ailes declared the “course correction” and hired people like Chris Wallace?

I guess it's not "technically" the opposition media but at least Fox allows both sides of the story to be told. That should be what every news network should do. But to the Dems, letting the other side speak is their definition of opposition media. That's why they want to shut it down. In their perfect world, Fox would not exist and conservative voices would never be heard. You know, like it is on MSNBC/CNN/PBS/NYT/ABCCBSNBC etc.etc.

However, whether or not people really want balanced news coverage is a much longer and deeper issue.
