F*ck that. Sure, sending in SOF or drone strikes would be sexy and make for some good videos. On a side note, if Crenshaw is involved in any way, shape or form, RUN...RUN Far Away.

Before and of that talk, let's here about the following:

- Forming law enforcement task forces, nationwide, to target the known cartel operations here in the US ..... catch the guys and within 24hrs, deported. Hopefully, they decide to shoot it out with the cops and end up dead at which time they can be thrown in an incinerator.

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2021/11/05/cartelville_usa_documentary_investigates_drug_cartels_taking_over_southern_california_desert.html#!

- Expose AMLO and the previous Mexican President and their "alleged" ties to the Cartels. The intel is somewhere, use it.

- Find and seize ANY piece of property owned by any member of the cartels, to include family members

Finally and MOST IMPORTANTLY...

Joe Rogan | Peter Zeihan - How The Sinaloa Cartel Legally Launders Money In USA! (NEWS) .... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKq0DyKEDKE

If this is true, expose it all. Every bit of it.

I doubt you'd have to send on GI over the border.

He’s completely right and would let them know they aren’t dealing with a weakling.

One thing about those guys...they sneer at weaklings and respect power.

"Trump had earlier this year released a policy video in which he explained he supported using the military to target the cartels, but this is the first time he has weighed in on the specific proposal before Congress to do so.

In response to Waltz’s AUMF plan, Mexican president Andrés Manuel López Obrador has said he opposes it and even threatened to interfere in U.S. elections to help Democrats and oppose Republicans in response

Oh hell no.

If we were asked for help, certainly that is a different conversation.

If we declare war against Mexico, that’s the military’s job.

The military should not be used as a proxy for law enforcement other than providing high tech surveillance from satellites, or possible air and helo transport for LE.

Operating US troops in Mexico is the fastest way possible to have them corrupted, with the US military becoming part of the cartels. Trump floats trial balloons and this one needs to pop.

During the Drug War in Columbia back in the 80s, President Reagan considered bombing the rural estates of the Narcos. It was deemed too controversial.

Crenshaw is a neocon deep state scumbag. If he’s ffor it I’m against it. This has nothing to do with drug cartels it’s about inserting our forces within Mexico and perhaps assisting in the overthrow of AMLO if he gets out of line. These neocons wont be happy until they turn every country in the world against us.

If Mexico asks for help that would be fine
otherwise build the wall and makes sure not a single Mexican gets into our country.

NO ONE, including Trump, could dismantle/destroy the Cartels......they’re the Golden Goose for the CIA/NSA/etc., and the government ALSO is funded by business interests who force the former USA to keep the borders open and cheap labor and drugs flowing.

You’re going to have to invade and occupy Mexico if you really want to get the cartels.

Do we have the stomach to do it? I seriously doubt it.

Simple solution: Give our Special Forces something to do on our shores and whack the cartels here in America. Silent but deadly.. slit throats and move on to the next target. We did this to the enemy in Viet Nam.

Problem one. Using the military to attack civilians in another country is illegal. Problem two, the military is not a police agency. What if the people on the other end surrender? This is why we have a prison in Cuba. Bring them to the United States and they are under the civilian legal system. Since they were arrested by the military under military rules, they were not read their “rights” so they’ll be released...probably in the US. All completely legal and insane. Also, do you want to pay for their legal help? I don’t.

If Mexico asked the US for help even then using the military would be problematic. Also, there is so much money in play that no one can be trusted, at any level.

The answer to the problem is to cut down the US demand for drugs. Yes, that would be hard as much of that demand comes from people wearing suits and ties and working at highly paid US jobs, like Senator, Governor and Congressman. We are told drug users are low-level nobodies, but that is not the case. It’s stock brokers.

We could cut down demand but there is no political will to do so.

We have proven over and over that where there is a demand for a product there will be a supply. We were better off when a few cartels ran the trade because they could only import what they could import. But the US broke up the cartels and created a PERFECT FREE MARKET, which is infinitely more efficient. Thus, the price of drugs has steadily declined in real dollars since the cartels fell. This is because if you went down there and tried to buy coke to import, the cartels would kill you. Now, thousands of people go down, but a relatively small amount, and bring it back with them. Far more is imported now than when the cartels ran the show.

If we actually want to do something, and I doubt the will is there, then it should be well thought out and not a sound bite, sounds-good solution.

I love Trump but sometimes I wish he’d be less vocal.

Instead of violating Mexican sovereignty, we need to start burying the drug dead on the grounds of their former schools to educate youth that recreational drug use is risky.
