RFK Jr. blames President Trump for the lockdowns & says over 600 doctors wrote & signed a letter to him begging him not to allow them.
Thoughts?

So now we know his purpose
I honestly don’t think trump had anyway to stop blue states or any state from locking down
He could have fired the scarf and fauxchi though
Which lockdowns?
The Newsom lockdowns in California and other Democrat jurisdictions, or the non-lockdowns in the free states?
RFK Jr is a democrat, ergo, he lies whenever politically expedient. Let’s remember, the lockdown was pushed by democrats Birx and Fauci and Trump basically left it to the governors to decide. Also, the lockdown were supposed to only be for two weeks. And the governors who went “dictator” for the lockdowns were mostly democrats. Democrats have convenient memories.
Trump should not have deferred to Fauci and Birx. They should have been merely two voices that had input. IMHO, this was Trump’s one BIG mistake during his presidency.
To some degree he is right, in the beginning, but very quickly Trump said we have to open up. It was mostly blue state governors that wouldn’t open back up and caused problems or big city mayors.
Yeah, he couldn’t stop the states but he could have made it clear that the federal government wasn’t recommending that course of action. He could have even ordered the Justice department to investigate states that locked down for civil rights violations.
But that would have required having loyal people in charge of the DOJ, and that’s something that Trump never really managed to achieve, except maybe at the very end of his term.
In my commie state of Oregon, the governor ordered everyone to stay home and do absolutely nothing for months at a time. Do presidents control what governors do?
If you believe in federalism, then it is not Trump’s fault. However, Trump should have chit canned FauxChi, Brix and others very early on during the pandemic.
Boom. Waiting for incoming.
Oh - I agree. But you fully supported the lockdowns at the time RJFK.
Now, because it’s convenient you want to place blame while you did NOTHING the entire time?
Go back to your hole.
No, nor did he have any way to FORCE them to lock down either.
That is a rather pathetic dodge, though. Failing to abide by, or outright rejecting, "Federal Guidelines" on ANYTHING is a very risky move for any State or Local government. Very few State or Local officials are willing to do it. The Fauci/Birx "guidelines" which led to State officials ordering lockdowns etc. came out on Trump's watch. He can't entirely dodge responsibility.
As for RFK Jr. ... He's running as a democRAT. What the heck do you expect him to say?
That’s a wealth of information right there. Thank you.
If President Trump had done anything differently regarding lockdowns, the nightly news would have blamed every reported Covid death on him.
It would make Nightline’s coverage of the Iran hostage crisis look like an afternoon walk in the park.
Who the hell asked you, chump? When we want any crap out of you, we’ll unscrew your head and dip it out.
In April of 2020 (after the initial “2 weeks to slow the spread) I remember President Trump expressing a desire to open up by Easter. In April of 2020 I also remember Gretchen Shitmer belittling Michganders for wanting to buy gardening supplies after seeds and the like were closed off in stores.
The man is a fool. He thinks we are fools and that our memories are short. The Governors mandated the lockdowns, never President Trump.
I don’t understand the political controversy here.
RFK is a Democrat. Broadly speaking Democrats were in favor of lockdowns and restrictions. How does this help politically with his people , to blame Trump for lockdowns which Democrats supported?
