I attended two local rock concerts this past weekend.

I stood near the bar on Friday night. I saw TWO Bud Light sales. The rest were niche brands or “gourmet water”. Though, to be fair, they were restocking with Bud Light by the end of the night (perhaps in prep for Saturday).

On Saturday, at a different venue, I observed the refrigerator case where the beer for sale was kept. The rumor was that the place almost ran out of beer. The supply of Bud Light was bountiful in the case while the other beers were less bountiful, notably Miller in cans.

Both nights, the music was basically 90s grunge so it was an older (but not ancient) crowd.

This isn’t a sign of tearing apart.

I was at Walmart yesterday, and strolled past the beer aisle. Bud and Bud Light were fully stocked, in fact all the AB brands that are sold there are stocked. Everything else was depleted or very picked over. Consumers are getting the message and siding with the boycott.

I’m not sure why Don Jr opened his mouth on this, but just like BL’s executives did, being open about his/their objectives is very telling. Donor money is important to Don. “Inclusivity” is important to AB.

We can live without both.
