We had a rogue vet here in WNY who scoffed at the whole heartworm push. He said there had been no known cases in our area for years. But I have all this IVM pony paste left over that I stocked up on.... so I will be sharing it with my puppies just in case.

This guy retired and moved to Ithaca to be near his daughter. Probably caused a “major disturbance in the force” for all the pre-pets (vet students) at Cornell.
