we grow organic rice here in the Philippines, and they are discouraging the growing of rice due to greenhouse gases.

And the price of growing rice has increased due to high diesel prices (For farm machinery, processing and shipping rice to market), and the high price of fertilizer (so even organic fertilizer has skyrocketed in price).

But now there is a push to put solar panels in our area, which grows a lot of rice and veggies for Manila.
