I’m doing some product development and ChatGPT has been great for chemistry questions. But for anything like Global Warming it is a complete cluster.

I used to use Excel a lot to analyze stock options movements (still do to a lesser degree). I asked ChatGPT to write some long VBA routines and string together some Excel formulas that I used in some of my spreadsheets and it instantly produced what it took me weeks to develop.

That said, asking the right questions is required and that still took a lot of care and attention to detail on my part.

Bottom line, though...ChatGPT is going to immediately eliminate a lot of programming jobs.
