Many national groups on the right were caught snoozing until near the end. At that point, it was almost impossible to counter the months of attack ads.In addition, Justice Kelly was insistent on running a traditional campaign on his merits as a jurist.

I blame Ronna McRomney, and Trump for continuing to support her.

Trump morphed the traditional GOP into a national-populist party comprised mostly of working-class whites. While this is not necessarily a bad thing, one of the unintended consequences that is becoming increasingly clear is that this demographic only shows up to vote when Trump himself is on the ballot.

The indictment should've fired up Republicans across the country! Indeed their support for Trump in the primaries has skyrocketed. They're fired up on social media, posting memes of Trump as a Roman general. But in Wisconsin, one of the many states that Trump desperately needs to flip in 2024, nobody bothered showing up to vote. Because Trump wasn't on the ballot.

Everything is Trump’s fault. We the voters have no responsibility.

I recently saw a report that millennials are shifting to Trump!

Yes, of course. Report after report, poll after poll, shows these younger generations are becoming more conservative and gravitating towards Trump and the GOP.

And then on Election Day, the exact opposite happens.

Younger voters are moving to the left.' They've always been left.

If they have always been left, then they can't be moving there.

But the reality is that this was another example of election theft, in order to affect the outcome of the 2024 election within a swing state.

But Wisconsin now has a super-majority in the Wisconsin Senate. Will they use it to exert their power, or will they do nothing as has been the case for far too many years now?

And in those ads he hammered Walker. It was a constant drumbeat of negative against Walker.

I see you have noticed that as well lol.
IT’S GOING TO BE A RED TSUNAMI.

JMHO, but the War on Woke is only playing to the base. Which the GOP already has.
Since 2018 the GOP has lost suburban women and centrist Indies. Maybe offering some solutions to issues like inflation, healthcare costs, and the costs of higher education would be worth their time and effort. Oh, the GOP complains about those issues but somehow, workable plans very rarely materialize. Then the Republican candidates go right back to doing nothing.

I think it’s already too late to get suburban women and centrist Indies back. Dobbs not only closed that window, it energized the under 30 vote. The youth vote turned out and got results. That will keep them engaged and turning out. The outcomes in MI, PA, and WI are not a one-off fluke.

Democrats gather ballots.

As Rush often said, “Republicans highest aspiration is to lose with honor”.

“The only answer is a national divorce.”

That’s been tried before in 1860. Didnt work then, won’t work now. Only solution is prayer. I think that’s the real issue. This is not a conflict between ideologies.

Eph 6:12
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”

“Justice Kelly was insistent on running a traditional campaign”

With that approach, deserves to lose, like all the rest of the never-fight Pines.

Let it all burn . . .

I was a little ticked off by Trump’s failure to endorse Harmeed or Mike but when I saw the final vote, Trump was right.

Had he come out against Rona, he would have had even LESS support from the RNC which is already marginal at best.

It wasn’t just that Trump endorsed Ronna Romney. He had Trump World surrogates on the ground supporting her at the RNC meeting. There is a middle ground here and Trump didn’t even go that route. Once again he gave full support to a Romney to the detriment of conservatives and conservatism.
