I’ve stayed at the Perdido Beach Resort a couple of times, but before Orange Beach was built over. For food, you have to go to the Floribama on the border. Find a place that has royal red shrimp too.
Its right in the middle of Spring Break........... Good luck finding a room!...........
Doc’s. I prefer the canal st location but the new one on beach blvd is good. Hog Wild is a great BBQ place in Gulf Shores on Hwy 59; the brisket was excellent.
As another poster stated spring break is ongoing. Might try an airbnb of a condo since hotel space is limited vs number of condos.
Just go to the outer banks in nc, not too far from bragg. Tough time all around for beach deals, no matter the state.
Doc’s Seafood has really good shrimp. Tempura batter and you make your own cocktail sauce.
There are no good restaurants in Orange Beach. You have to drive a ways. We stayed in a nice Condo right on the beach for the nephews wedding a few years ago but it was really pricey like $800 per night.
Felix’s Fish Camp is an old time family favorite, though I personally haven’t been there in years. It’s just east of Mobile right on the water, before you get to Spanish Fort.
Here’s a link to the Trip Advisor website for a direct link to Felix’s reviews.

I have often used Trip Advisor as a resource when looking for food and lodging recommendations, and even things to do, when going on a trip. I would say the reviews are pretty reliable. You can even look to see recent reviews.

If you’re traveling cross-country from AZ to NC, then I highly recommend the Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs, AR. It is a unique and wonderful diversion (and last time I was there, it was extremely dog-friendly).
Orange Beach - Is this something to do with Don Trump?
If you don’t get in trouble and if they already made the change, please stop and spray paint “BRAGG” over the word “Liberty” on the liberal’s name change of my beloved Ft. Bragg.
Ditto the suggestion of Doc’s for shrimp.

Also, Louisiana Lagniappe is good, if a little more spendy.

Most everyone stays in condos, and IIRC most have a 3 night minimum. Try airbnb, brett-robinson, or vrbo.
I was there last fall, and I enjoyed Cobalt and Mikee’s Seafood. The best spot, IMO, however, is the Tin Top Restaurant in Bon Secour. Little bit of a drive, but well worth it. Doc’s is fine, but not great by any means.
If you’re in the mood for a beer and a band...the Flora-Bama is fun.
Haven’t been there in a few years but our absolute favorite place in that area is an experience as well as a meal! Loads of fun, even the kids have never stopped talking about it and we all would love to return someday. It’s called Lamberts Throwed Rolls, and the food is delicious and generous, but the best fun is the waitstaff and their unique ways of serving up hospitality. As you might have guessed, you need to get your paws in the air to catch your large and delicious dinner rolls, as the staff hauls them to you, for example! Great atmosphere and people. Sometimes quite a wait to get in though, fair warning!
