Someone must’ve been steering this young man in the right direction. But, if his mother was the one raising him right, why did she let the stepdad move back in after he served time for pistol-whipping and shooting someone?

One of the biggest dangers to a mother’s child is a man who is not that child’s biological father. Some women lose all sense of judgment when choosing new “boyfriends.” This is why the traditional family unit is so important. Is it perfect? No. Nothing is. Is it better than this crap?
