For one high schooler, despite her high overall average when she sent out college applications, she was shocked to receive more rejections in the mail than she hadn't been anticipating. Did the person who wrote this graduate from High School? I myself was wondering how this could be in a report about academic prowess: "more rejections in the mail than she hadn't been anticipating!" Looks like something I would post due to two ways of phrasing something being jumbled in my mind while typing, and just hitting Post. But so far it seems like we are only ones who caught this.
