I tried taking my lil guy, this morning....our vet is (WAS) walk ins, only. After an hour...and, NO progress (felt so bad for the elderly folks, with REALLY old dogs), I left.
We have an appointment with another vet, that seems very open to a more integrated type of care. 🤞🏼

I have waited up to 3 hours with this vet. They do walk-ins in between the appointments. But she’s the only place in town that has walkins. So if you have an emergency and can’t wait for the emergency vet to be open at night, there really isn’t too many options. Sometimes I will call other vets and plead my case and sometimes they will create an opening. Usually not though.
I’m glad you got another appointment in the works. Seems like around here covid messed everything up, now vets are more busy than ever. I’m not sure why.
