My hubs and I are honored by your words. But truly, it has rarely been a sacrifice. We are doing work that we have been trained to do. We do not find life here too onerous; well when the power is shut off it we do complain; and it is fun, too. I ride a motorcycle and go diving. That is pure, plain fun!

"And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or farms for My name’s sake, will receive many times as much, and will inherit eternal life."

Oh, yes, rejoice! The Kosarek New Testament is being typeset and should be printed over the summer. Another people have the Word of God in their language. Also, the Moi people, too, are expecting their language's newly translated New Testament to be dedicated early in 2024. God's Word is going forth. PTL!

And that is why the hubs and I are here. We are part of the translation team by teaching the children of translators. When we arrived in 1995, the work proceeded at a snail's pace with new translations being produced every few years. Now, it seems like every month, we are celebrating another New Testament or even complete Bible being finished and published. People are learning their sins are forgiven by the work of Jesus on the Christ and they no longer have to sacrifice to the gods of their mountains, or trees, or pigs, or whatever. Child sacrifice is ending here because they now know the price has been paid. AND the victory is secure in the resurrection of Our Risen Christ.
