I watched “First do no Harm” earlier. The doctor treating their son foe epilepsy was fixing to take him away because they wanted to try the ketogenic diet as the drugs were making him worse. They maneuvered to get him to the clinic with the diet and it cured him, as it did many children. That doctor told them it was unscientific and they were harming him.
Some things never change.

The keto diet was developed just for this purpose (epilepsy). My son’s neurologist had several kids who only did the diet, no meds. He supported them. My son started keto about 5 years ago and has not had a seizure since. He has been able to dial back to the lowest dose of seizure med and could probably come off completely but his neurologist now (adult) encouraged him to stay on a low dose

Is this the docu/film where one of the families also cured their autistic child, with diet???

I remember watching a docu that covered that...but, it was years ago.

Certainly opened my eyes!
