Doctor slide...
It’s not just over 60, when I broke my foot, oh 7 yrs ago, I went to 2 ankle and foot surgeons who said I was fine and there was nothing they could do. So.. I did nothing but couldn’t walk on it, wear a shoe, nothing, zip, zero, nada. 3 months later, still in a boot I called my sister cryin’ and she said.. “Hey, don’t you have a podiatrist you like?” Love him, I said lol. So he’s retired but hired a young guy who took one look at my foot and said, “Well, that needs to be re-broken, scar tissue cleaned out, and a pin put in.”
Well, then, let’s schedule that. I paid cash, about 4 grand and got my foot fixed.
My wrist is still stiff and movement is limited, but it is far less painful, the pinky finger no longer bugs me as much, and piano playing is a bit better. So, I feel a bit hopeful for my wrist.
I don’t really care for my primary doc, he’s just weird. And I don’t trust any doctor that thinks the jabs are fab.
My son’s dog knocked me down a few weeks ago, I landed so hard on my rear end my neck hurt. So I think that aggravated my neck. I’m a pain in the neck hahahahaha.
Back in early January I had surgery on my left hand.
During the pre-op screening I asked the doc if I would be able to play the piano after the surgery. He said, "I don't see why not." I replied, "That's great, I never could play it before." The nurse snickered in the background.
I can't believe an orthopedic surgeon fell for that gag.

You’re in worse shape than I am. The first foot doctor I went to right after I fell said, “you’re going to wish you broke this ankle before these tendons heal.” He put me in a boot. Weeks later it was still swollen. He said all he could do was put shots in it. Nope! The second foot doctor said the same. I went to a PT on my own and he helped but after a while, he sent me to the specialist in Knoxville. Two more MRI’s and x-rays. She gave me a brace. It’s one of those ankle corsets that takes forever to put on. She said to wear it and a high-top work boot when walking outside and just the brace when it bothers me inside. A brace inside a leather boot when it’s 110 outside sucks. I want it fixed but nobody is willing to fix it.
