The mall in my town,a town that's surrounded on three sides by very affluent towns,has had a Tesla "dealership" for a couple of years.Just recently a Lucid "dealership" has opened up there as well. I go to this mall regularly because it's a great place to walk and it has a great supermarket.

All the times I've walked by these dealerships I've only seen two of three people in them.

Well, those would be the ones who would want & could afford them. I would think that having a product like this & pricing it the way they do would only help to eventually eliminate these EVs from the nation’s highways. Wonder how many miles they would have to be transported to a dealership who could work on the things?

Who actually pays the purchase credit on one of these lemons?
I never understood exactly how that worked as other manufacturers also offer these credits. Is this paid by other taxpayers or does it fall ball on the manufacturer? If the manufacturer is paying it, that’s proof enough they are already overpriced. P.T. Barnum had it figured out years ago.
