From emails, my Bank of America, Chase Morgan, T Mobile, Mcafee Antivirus, Crypto, and Walmart accounts are all pending banning and closure.
As if. Oh, and my car warranties are expiring.
I couldnt... that’s my point- it is a REAL mail from eBay.
I went to the ebay site to TRY to log in [is that better?]
Maybe you should login and see.
A cautionary tale. I make it a rule never to click on any links in emails unless it is coming from a very trusted source, and I recognize the email address of the sender. Better to go to the web-site yourself in your browser. So many scams these days. And they are getting more sophisticated all the time.
Check your account to see whether you can still log in. If so, the email was probably a scam with a link they wanted you to click on.
I have had all kinds of emails threatening to close my accounts — at banks and elsewhere where I never had an account.
I used to get notices about my PayPal. On closer observation, I noticed the ‘l’ was actually the capital letter ‘I’.
I was an eBay member for many years. After two instances where eBay refused to take action against dishonest sellers (despite their widely advertised “guarantee” to protect buyers), I was outta there. I’ve since heard of many people being cheated there. My advise would be to STAY AWAY. Ignore any communications from them.
If you were permanently banned, how could you log in?
Ooohhh, using logic! Das raciss.
A great idea. Most of ours get sent right to the spam folder automatically.
95% of the text fishing goes to the wife’s # for some strange reason.
Google eBay seller discussion.
You will find others with problems similar to yours if you scroll through the posts

Have you seen this? You are not alone.
I guess I didn’t make it clear enough. I checked out the email I am a computer systems engineer. I do this stuff for a living.
It was not trying to get me to log in, so they could phish for my info, there was not a log in link.
It was a real email from ebay, and that account is banned when I TRIED to log in.
Is EBAY checking your social posting on other sites? Or responding to other users who ‘report’ you?
I googled it and it’s not a scam. Don’t know how they singled you out specifically but it sucks to be banned.
DOES ANYONE HERE USE IT?
No, i don’t anymore. Years. There may be an automatic disabled account function from disuse. Unlike voter registration.
The AI bots just not showing you love.
I know Facebook traces your cookies. Although I don’t know how far back or forward Facebook tracks your internet usage, I just know they do.
It’s quite likely that Ebay does the same thing, and probably all the other liberal social media.
It’s doesn’t suck that much, since I had forgotten I even had an account there...
But... why did they suddenly ban it?
Is Ebay checking social scores now?
THAT IS THE POINT I AM TRYING TO GET ACROSS...
My siblings sell on ebay.
I buy on ebay.
(whatever you find, look for it on ebay. You will get it cheaper).
Have not had any of this crap sent to me or my siblings.
It’s a scam
DO NOT CLICK ANY LINK IN THAT EMAIL!!!!!
Very good chance it’s a phishing scam, trying to steal your credentials.
Go to www.ebay.com
And login as normal. If all looks fine, dump the email into spam, and block the sender.
I don’t know as I cancelled my Ebay account a long time ago.
Big eBay Brother is watching you...............
Clear your cookies as often as you can.
They read your cookies to see where you have been, and look for “crazy right-wing” sites like FR.................😉
I am trying to get that point across... IT IS NOT A SCAM... it is a REAL EMAIL FROM EBAY. I am a computer systems engineer for a living, I know what I am talking about, and I checked it out before posting here.
What I am asking is this: IS EBAY BANNING CONSERVATIVES?
