blue letter bible, you have about 15 bibles you can use including the KJV
Bible.com has a downloadable app file, no web connection needed. They will market to you relentlessly, though, so there is a cost in that regard.
Good note taking feature as well.
eSword for a computer and Bible Reader for Android is what I use.
BibleGateway is what I use.
Youversion Bible app.......you can also set up verse of the day to to your text or email.
But I don’t know if Bible Gateway comes as an app. I have it bookmarked on my tablet. I don’t care for apps in general.
Honestly, nothing is really “free” on the internet. Your name will be sold to advertising lists.
It’s better to pay bucks to get what you want sometime.
Biblegateway has just about every version of the Bible known to man, even some I never heard of.
Also, you can search on just ONE WORD if that’s all you remember from a verse to find it and it will display every instance of that word from Genesis to Revelation, or you can limit the searches to just the OLD or NEW Testaments, or just certain books..................
There’s also one they promote on Android phones.
Now, if I could just switch some of my texts away from SMS.
The “tips” out there reference settings that simply are not there. Looks like it’s going well and then there is not the option the “tips” say will be there.
Phone is on Android 9
P.S., other good Bible options listed in the thread
I hope people are buying Bibles / downloading Bible text (we need a good link for that)
The Bible WILL eventually be outlawed - in some places, it already is.
I would also like to recommend Blue Letter Bible.
It is not just a collection of versions, but an excellent resource site. Commentaries are linked to scripture passages along with a concordance and a dictionary. Searches for where the same Greek or Hebrew word appears is scripture are available.

Very SIMPLE solution that many of us use...
1. Use a fake name
2. Create a throw-away email address using that fake name
3. Set up an email filter to send all emails to that address to the trash
I use an old PacBell account that eventually found its way to Yahoo. They allow you to create 500 disposable email addresses under your main account and set up the filter to trash any mail going to that address.
Also, if you need to buy something at a merchant you are unsure of, do NOT use your regular credit card. Get a “virtual credit card” number from either CapitalOne or Privacy.com. On Privacy.com, you can create a one-time use credit card number for a particular merchant. The number is destroyed / disabled the one time you use it.
Our church recommends the YouVersion Bible app. You have your choice among 71 English versions, can download a version for offline access, search by keyword or phrase, and find books of the bible either by chronological or alphabetical order.
Our Church also uploads sermon notes to the app, so you can read the notes on your phone.
The app is free, but accepts in-app donations.

I can believe it.
The goats are running wild, empowered by the spirit of antichrist.
They are going to get Satan’s anti-messiah, the Antichrist Beast and the False Prophet Beast of Revelation chapter 13.

Thanks for the advice.
If you don’t have a robust VPN, they will identify you by your IP address, so implementing one of those is a must as well. I use ExpressVPN. Money well spent.
