Voters of color are a big reason Trump leads the GOP primary

Trump was up an average of 55% to 26% over DeSantis among Republican (and Republican leaning independent) voters of color in an average of the two polls.

Among White Republican voters, the race was well within the margin of error: Trump’s 38% to DeSantis’ 37%.

Trump’s base is made up of Republicans whose households pull in less than $50,000 a year. He led this group of voters by 22 points over DeSantis in our CNN poll. He trailed DeSantis by 13 points among those GOP voters making at least $50,000 a year. This is a 35 point swing between these two income brackets.

Republican voters of color are far more likely than White Republicans to have a household income of less than $50,000 a year.

Trump’s lead among Republican voters of color comes at a time when they’re becoming a larger part of the party. During the Republican primary season in 2016, voters of color were 13% of Republican voters. Today, they’re closer to 18%.

The shift among voters of color from 2022 to 2020 could have provided the winning margin for Republicans to take back the House.

This is one of Trump's greatest accomplishments - prying loose the Democrat stranglehold on the black vote. Of course, it will take more brains than the likes of Ronna McDaniel and Mitch McConnell have to do anything with this unexpected gift.

It’s time for everyone of every color and creed to kick some ass and take back our country. It may sound like false bravado but what else can we do?

I see Soros’ plantation boy, Alvin Bragg is a potential “reparations” recipient. The boy needs to recuse his sorry ass from the Trump case. He’s not being an azho because Trump committed any crime. He’s playing this chickensh*t because he’s a Trump hating racist. A true black supremacist because the state of New Yawk gave the boy “da powah”.

Notice CNN frames things in terms of race. I am willing to bet that the number of coloreds are in proportion to their white counterparts based on income and employment type.

Oh man. Golden opportunity. Take the income tax down to 1% and let everybody see their full paycheck minus the 1%. Initiate a National Sales tax with a rebate for every department and federal job eliminated. Divide it up among the bottom 50% using the 1% as a gage of income.

As for those that pay no taxes now the sales tax will be rewarded with ‘skin in the game’.

Let the 1% tax wither on the vine and give every newborn a $1k ROTH IRA with no withdrawal until age 59. Wage earners will have more control over their spending as well as the government’s.

The National Sales Tax rate can be debated EVERY year in November 1st for the upcoming year. A good economy will lower it and a smaller Government will too. . A surplus could be divided evenly amongst the kids and deposited in their newfound IRA’s. It’s the future and not the kicking the can down the road.

Republican voters of color are far more likely than White Republicans to have a household income of less than $50,000 a year.

They hate the flyover states so much, they pretend they/we don't exist. There are small factories all across these rural areas and also small towns that are supported by farming. 95% of these rural people are white and 80% of them WORK a LEGAL JOB and make less than $50k.

I live up against the Nat Forest and have a Royal Oak plant, a stave plant, airplane part machine shop, plastic bag plant, egg crate plant and many more within commuting distance. When they listen to Trump vs Harvard/Yale DeSantis, there's a difference. Which one do you think they can relate to? Trump was also on TV for a decade or more. Reality TV and wrestling/fighting.

Tax focus is GOPe bullshit.

Conservatism is

Build the Wall
Drain the Swamp
American First in all Things
Pro 2nd Amendment
Pro Life

Taxes and spending mean NOTHING. It is a substance created from thin air by the Federal Reserve.

Find people who want to Drain the Swamp. Want to know the count of those in office over 6 years?

Right. Zero. That’s why the GOPe wants to talk about taxes.

I’m not sure what a “voter of color” is. Italian? Latino? Spanish? Malaysian? Me with a good tan? Irish with a sunburn?
Or any combination of the above?

And none of them will vote for Trump or DeSantis in the general.

Blacks simply don’t vote in great numbers. Trump lost enough of the White vote that would have otherwise overcome the cheating.

I almost wonder if they think reporting this will make all us racist Trump supporters go against him...

If you ask me, it takes a certain mindset to understand the everyday American, and Trump’s got it. A lot of everyday Americans realize that, and vote for him. He’s proven that he can make things go well for regular folks, as designed by the Founding Fathers. They were like him - rich, elite, but pro-common man. To those of us who support him, we understand that.

Trump is far from perfect, but if I can’t have an Indy car, I’ll gladly drive a Mustang. Almost everybody else seems to be a Pinto...
