Kids play "get the sub" to entertain themselves. If any of my subs ever told me any of my students tried that, I would have the offender and the whole class write a letter of apology to the sub. The offender for being an a$$ and the rest of the class for letting them get away with it.
When and if I could get the sub to come back, the letter(s) were delivered personally to them. It happened but only once or twice in 16 years.
