Time from conviction to execution for T McV? Four years. (1997-2001)

Time from blown up MFB to conviction? Two years.

Why was he so quiet? One, he had always been a quiet sort.

He believed in the ideals of the US Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and his military oath to fight against enemies foreign and domestic. I think he was angry with himself that he didn’t complete his final mission more successfully. I believe he felt the government would enact retribution on his family and possibly friends if he spoke out against those who set him on his last mission.

Not sure why I had eight years stuck in my head but I really remember Reno hustling the paperwork. It seems she wanted McVeigh buried before she left office. And she had to have Klintoon support for that.

They were way madder at McVeigh than they were at the 93 WTC bombers
