Especially when it's on the ceiling. That's the best.

My job was to get ready for the final drywall job. I had to vapor barrier the exterior walls and make some stud thickness adjustments for the final bathroom wall. Dry wall goes in next weekend then everything will be mudded. I have a friend of mine who’s been doing this for 40+ years and does an amazing job. Once he’s done the interior of our ‘log cabin’ will be complete sans trim etc. It’s going to be an epic moment. It was originally a 1972 mobile home. I completely gutted it.

After drywall and paint is done the bathroom floor then the rest of the bathroom can be done. After doors, baseboards, trim, the Kitchen. We just ordered the cabinets, counters and flooring.

Also this Spring will be foundation, re-sheathing and then the log cabin siding.

It’ll be the talk of the town up there when the exterior is done. People are literally going to drive off the road when they see it finished. From 1972 faded metal sheathing to log cabin.
