“Elton John was top of Charles’ list but due to his European tour, which sees him performing in Germany the Friday before then again soon after the Windsor concert, he isn’t able to make the dash to the UK work." “Meanwhile, man-of-the-moment Harry Styles is also tied up with touring and unable to get key band members together as they’ll be on much-needed downtime.” This is hilarious. 'For King Charles you say? Oh I'm so sorry, how could I get there from Germany so quickly? Also some of my bandmates will be playing video games at home so you can see it's impossible to make this'.
What king has ever been so dissed by a bunch of musicians?

I totally agree. Neat kids, especially the spunky little girl. My granddad would have said “She’s a pistol”.

May is prime touring season. Taking a week off for Charles makes little financial sense.
Tom Jones might be available….

What about The Sex Pistols.

I think even the English have finally heard enough from Paul McCartney, as he is today. He can still play up a storm, but cannot really sing. Ringo? Nice enough Bloke, as they say, but not much of a there there. Not at those ticket prices. I would think there would still be a deep pool of new talent who would love the exposure this venue would guarantee. I’m not talking about Rap in any form.

Rock did not exist during the late Queen’s Coronation in 1953, but she did host concerts for her Golden, Diamond, and Platinum jubilees.
