China has horrific food safety standards, if any at all. It’s dangerous to buy any food products made or processed there. Their sanitation/food handling/hygiene methods are non-existent. Their dog food has killed dogs here.
My neighbor raises grass fed cattle and sells meat for freezers. When I buy meat from him, it gives us temporary diarrhea. After eating it a few times, we adjust and no more issues. So, is it because we change from store bought meat to farm raised meat? Probably. When we go back to store bought meat, we go through the same cycle. Your body can adjust to eating the chemicals, antibiotics, and preservatives in store bought meat. It has to re-adjust when you change to the good stuff. China’s food processing could make us extremely sick. It doesn’t bother their farmers as much because they are used to eating crap, literally. The city dwellers don’t have those defenses.
China is very good at creating and speading pathogens.
All through history, indigenous people have sickened and died when exposed to Europeans because they have no defense against our diseases. China doesn’t care how many of their own people they kill because they have too many anyway. Why would they care if they kill us? It’s a hundred times worse when our own government is in cahoots with them to do it.
I wish I had a source for grass fed beef. I have to settle for wild caught salmon, halibut, moose and venison for clean protein. We occasional have access to free-range eggs but the supply is thin.
