Verdict is in on the double murder charges facing Alex Murdaugh. Pundits are opine he is guilty
What didn’t come out was whether he was having an affair or not. Who knows?
Makes sense if Maggie was leaving him.
I know. He deserves it. Now S.C. taxpayers have to pay for the rest of his life. Shameful.

I bet what he paid in taxes is more than the entire cost of his stay in jail.
But the point is not the amount of money it will cost to house him, but that being the alternative to his non-execution.
Buster better he thankful that he wasn’t with him Mom and brother or he would have been murdered too.
He hunted his wife down as she tried to run away. Like an animal. I can’t imagine her fear.
If he was innocent he would not have had that dead expression when the verdicts were announced, in my opinion.
I haven’t been able to follow every second of this trial, but… Right now I am about one hour south of Walterboro, SC. There are quite a few people around here who know the Murdaugh family personally and/or they have been able to follow this trial more closely than I have.
They all say Alex Murdaugh is as guilty as sin of the murder of his wife and son. Justice has been served.
Magnificent description!
Thanks for the local report, FRiend. It’s been a fascinating tale to follow. I work so was unable to follow the trial a lot but saw parts of it on YouTube. Believe it or not, Reddit has had an excellent thread on this since day one. I learned a lot from locals. There were differing views in the beginning, but over time the consensus was- he did it.
Unrelated- sort of. Today on my way home I heard part of an interview someone did with OJ Simpson about this case. Unreal, right? He was discussing evidence, reasonable doubt like a freakin lawyer. Creepy!
Buster needs to go to jail for killing that kid in 2015!
Need more...what kid?
Watch the Netflix special on Murdoaugh.
The facts - just the facts.
Post a link. I’m in for anything Anna Nicole smith.
Buster likely killed a classmate in 2015, covered up. Housekeeper killed by the wife 2018. No autopsy. Covered up and Alex sued himself for the accident and kept the insurance money. Nearly 5 million.
Where is all this coming from. Testimony in the trial said that the housekeeper tripped over a dog on the stairs.
People like them have tentacles in everyplace and the surrounding communities. It’s that way in my hometown. Their ability to pressure people to get what they want knows no boundaries. Few people like them but most have a healthy fear of them in order to get along in the community without them going after you - they can and do ruin peoples livlihoods.
I didn’t know how it happened only that they were killed and he was the only suspect.
Still it was interesting watching him try and defend himself....you could see his mind working when asked questions and how he deflected, danced, and rephrased the questions even. One very highly manipulative Attorney.
I found it interesting is he was the ‘only’ suspect pretty much from the get go.....when there’s money involved it’s not uncommon at all the family members are the first ones police will suspect.
