A great list 70s song

Streaming music as I work and this song popped up. Been many years since I've heard it last but loved it growing up. One of Paul's best. I love the line in the song "I never thought to ask her what the letter G stood for, but I know it wasn't good"!

Sally G.....enjoy.

Paper Lace sent the song to the mayor of Chicago, Richard Daley, who greatly disliked it.[3] A member of Daley’s staff is quoted as saying that Paper Lace should “jump in the Chicago River, placing your heads under water three times and surfacing twice. Pray tell us, are you nuts?”

Blondie was OK. In kind of a graffiti-covered NYC sort of way.

Yeah, Mayor Daley wasn’t too big on Top-40 music. Well, maybe the Top 40 of 1942, I don’t know.

Oh please, next you'll be putting up Torn Between Two Lovers, and Seasons In The Sun. Oh, and Only Women Bleed, that was memorable.

I just listened to that a couple weeks ago!

I remember it too! Amazing that it was ever on the radio.
