This would seem to be a big deal: 163 days of protest in a totalitarian Muslim nation where people are literally murdered in public for participating in such a thing. Yet there is nary a peep from the MSM or the White House.
Hmmmm. Most curious. Any guesses as to why?
Tagline explains it with every post.
There has actually been quite a bit of coverage. However, if you take out the time spent on “get Trump” in a typical 30 minute (less commercials) nightly news broadcast, and then take out various natural and man-made disasters, Ukraine, notable(?) weather events, climate change, racial conflict, sensationalized (but meaningless on a national scale) trials... well, we are lucky to see a few seconds of an Iranian protest, and likely a homage to those “brave Iranian young women”, every week or two. (Don’t get me wrong, you gotta be darn brave to protest in Iran!)
And after all, superficially viewed, an average of ~4 people dying a day is really not a big deal, is it? 4 HUNDRED fatalities from fighting is a really light day in Ukraine...
The fact that a neutral, pragmatic gov’t in Tehran would likely end the threat of a nuclear arms race in the ME for as long as that gov’t was in power doesn’t get discussed. :-(
