I did. I loved it all. I actually went to bed early that night. My son called me to tell me what was happening around 11 p.m. I think that I was up until very late before it was finally called.
Meanwhile, I learned a bit later that at that time, all was not peace and quiet in the Hillary Campaign HQ. She went absolutely ballistic.
I watched the returns with American friends but the TV talkers kept refusing to call it for President Trump. We all know what was going on behind the scenes now, but everyone gave up and went home. The host fell asleep in his armchair but I wasn’t going anywhere, probably to his dismay. The talking heads finally, and very reluctantly, called it just before 3:00 a.m. (best recollection). I quietly got up to turn off the lights and head home but the host woke up. He asked me what time it was and who won. I smiled at him broadly and said “3:00 a.m. Can you say President Trump?” He was incredulous and he shot up and we jumped around his living room together. I wish the others had stayed too.
It’s been tiring being on the losing end of the cabal’s crimes for so long and so often. I watch the Young Turks meltdown every time I want to see a time when we won for a change. I also look at the “Trump is never going to be President” compilation from time to time. Obama’s mike drop after making that assertion is so enjoyable now. I hope that guy has had nothing but sleepless nights since then wondering if he’s going to end up in prison or executed for treason. I resent that they might have any peace of mind at all and wish they have only troubled minds from their crimes.
