There should soon be a market adjustment for this racist behavior. If I were in the position of looking for and hiring the best, it seems obvious to me to go to the tier 2 schools where many of the best, brightest and whitest kids have been relegated to attend due to the racist entrance policies of the tier 1/Ivy League schools. If you follow this to its natural conclusion, the biggest companies that hire from the tier 1/Ivy League schools will find their hires to be inferior AA hires who can’t do the jobs well. They’ll be out-competed by smaller companies without these practices, and may even suffer massive lawsuits from the actions or incompetence of their hires. The pendulum always swings back as long as natural market forces are allowed to operate.
Sadly, even the Division III schools have fallen victim to the Federally Guaranteed Student Loan grift.
D-III schools traditionally have high academic standards and are starter schools for the Ivy League and big name law/medical schools.
Senator Gary Peters graduated with me from a D-III school and we both respect the education we got in the baccalaureate stage.
D-III schools are lily white and aren’t allowed to offer athletic scholarships. But, in the name of diversity, their admission standards have been tweaked to open opportunities for the urban class that once didn’t think they qualified.
As said, these schools are “feeders” for big name Masters’ programs at Ivy League. Around 10% of our class went on to the Ivies; UM-Med and UM-Law and Columbia Journo.
It isn’t just the Ivies that need some fixin
