I am part Native American. But never helped me get a job. My skill-set got me my jobs.

The HVAC tech that installed my air-conditioner was looking for a new career in software engineering. He lives on the reservation immediately north of my city. He started in the right direction, but made some bad choices with respect to drug use. The last time we spoke, he was jailed awaiting trial. The outcome was possibly prison. The trial date has come and gone. I suspect he is incarcerated now.

I know drugs and alcohol are problematic on Rez's.

Prolly never end....

I live quite close to a Rez....They have their own police..and Casinos....They have created jobs for the tribe people......No doubt.

I just do my thing...and they do theirs.
