I thought what made this worth mentioning is the thug saw the concealed carry weapon he was (apparently) uselessly carrying in the band of his pants, snatched it and when chased and confronted by the owner killed him with his own firearm.
Dysgenics in action right before our eyes. If he would be given the death penalty it would cancel out a little but he will probably get out in 15 with good behavior and have time to impregnate 3 different women with 5 kids and leave them all to be single mothers and repeat the process.
Lazy weapon management by the victim.
The kid will get 2 or 3 years. No point ruining his life over a what a judge will call a “mistake”.

A rite of passage for young black males. He’ll join his buddies in prison for a few years, get out, and then commit more crimes. If he were to try to get an education and make something of himself, he’d be accused of ‘acting white’.

This is why I don’t like open carry, and strongly suggest that if you insist on open carry, that you do so using a well-designed Retention holster that positively and automatically locks the gun in the holster and requires the activation of a release mechanism before the weapon can be drawn.
A snapped leather strap does not count as positive retention.

In this case you imagine in your head that Lamarion grabbed your sidearm and runs away. Hmmm, do I run after Lamarion to get my gun back? He’s armed. I’m not. No, I don’t run after Lamarion. That would be stupid.
You stand and watch Lamarion run away. Wave bye-bye. Now, you say to yourself that you can buy another sidearm you always wanted. This makes you happy and still alive. Now call the cops.
