Aside from my moms bestie a 35 year old voluptuous green eyed R.N. Divorcée this black and white 1968 image was my first adult female icon of warm fuzzy feelings as it hung by my twin bed sixth grade man I loved her so
I can still feel her gazing down at me

She couldn’t keep them, or they couldn’t keep her?

No mistaking Ann Margaret on the right. She was a dish! Not to take anything away from Raquel.

El Cid! I saw that when I was too young to know Raquel’s name! The scenes with her left an indelible mark on my fragile eggshell mind! (To this day!) Now I want to see it again knowing it was her.

Sorry, my error. El Cid was Sophia Loren, another massive hottie. Raquel was “One Million Years B.C.”

My mistake, was confusing Sophia Loren (”El Cid”) with Raquel (”One Million Years B.C.”) Sophia is still alive.

Did I tell you I was at a Reagan event circa 84 at a ranch over the hill from Rancho del Cielo—a concert for Reagan-—and Bo Derek came in. I didn’t get to talk with her, but was about 30 feet away. Stunning.
In 76, I was walking across a crosswalk in LA where the cops had roped off a large part of the street for filming. I walked right in front of Stephanie Powers in a Mustang convertible and thought, “She isn’t nearly as good looking as she is on camera.”

Claudia Cardinale is still alive. A couple of days ago, my wife was changing channels when she landed on "Once Upon a Time in the West" and I said Claudia Cardinale and Lionel Stander, there 's a conversation you don't expect to see every day. We watched Jason Robards walk through the saloon doors as I said his name too, and we kept watching until Charles Bronson does his interaction with Robards.
In spite of me saying the film was a classic Spaghetti Western, my wife said it was as boring as... I don't remember what she said, and she changed the channel. I pointed out that the film was three hours long anyway. Of course I had already watched it recently again myself.
