They used to have these events, First Fridays, all over the country. I think it started in DC.
Monthly event where black, “professional”, white collar types, could mingle with other black, white collar types.
So, you have successful black businessmen, doctors, lawyers, etc showing up to get laid. Of course, not every woman that showed up was some lawyer, consultant or whatever.
The women are trying to find a match. The men are looking for the hottest woman in the place.
The “professional” women are 100% attitude. They’re a black, female lawyer that graduated from Howard or Spellman or wherever. The men don’t have time for that nonsense.
Ergo, black men pretty much have their pick of the litter.

The flip side of the book, unsaid, was that black men are poor matches for black women, and Jewish women are poor matches for Jewish men.
So what about the goals of black men and Jewish women that makes them poor matches for their obvious couples? Speculation would just create anguished cries from both, so it is just better to say they are “not compatible”, and so are far less likely to lead to happy marriages.
