I think a registry should be set up to allow people leave organs in their will for profit. A value for hearts, lungs, kidneys corneas etc. could be established so as to allow even poor people to leave an estate to their heirs.
Rules against suicide etc could address potential abuses but it would increase the likelihood of organ availability.
The medical establishment makes millions on transplants.
The real hero’s the donors make nothing.
That is an idea worth discussion.
