I have an Undead Thread ping list and a short Wordle Player ping list, but what is it you want me to ping them to? Most of the folks on my lists don’t pay any attention to me, anyway. When they want to say something, they just look me up!
The best way to bring something to people’s attention is to select those people you know, and the ones you would like to inform about whatever has your interest piqued. You can also ask the ones you know to ping any friends that might be interested.
Barring all that, select the people you think would like to be informed, and create your own private ping list. It doesn’t necessarily have to be for any specific thing, just like-minded people.
That way, you’ll have your own ping list and you can name it or just use it when you find a thread topic that interests you.
