whether it be illegals or minorities, the exclusion laws of the North never really disappeared: "So the Negro [in the North] is free, but he cannot share the rights, pleasures, labors, griefs, or even the tomb of him whose equal he has been declared; there is nowhere where he can meet him, neither in life nor in death. In the South, where slavery still exists, less trouble is taken to keep the Negro apart..."

Only problem for ‘Red’ states is that blacks vote nearly 110% for Dems and take their voting patterns with them wherever they go. Also, blacks are gradually being replaced in Dem states by imported Hispanic ‘migrants’, but blacks don’t seem to connect that to the Dems.

Democrats blame America for the sins of Democrats:
Slavery
Segregation
Indian removal (trail of tears)
KKK
Jim Crow
Systemic racism

“ South, where slavery still exists, less trouble is taken to keep the Negro apart...”

They keep blaming the South, but it is so like a democrat to accuse me of what he is actually doing. Even the infamous “N-word” was rarely used by whites in The South. We somewhat tried to get along during desegregation, but blacks wouldn’t have it. There were many more race related problems and issues up North, but Southerners get the brunt of the blame. Sure, there was pushback against desegregation, but not like the democrats would have everyone believe.

You can't believe what Lib-Tards believe about what must be done to improve the station of society's "lower" classes and not believe that those minority individuals are incapable of correcting this "inequality" on their own and without the help of their betters.

This clearly is "the soft bigotry of low expectations" (a phrase coined by G.W. Bush speechwriter Michael Gerson), another name for a racism that lets you sleep better at night.
